Privacy Policy – 20-20 Financial Integration
Effective date:
This Privacy Policy explains how 20-20 Accounting Solutions, LLC (“20-20,” “we,” “us”) handles information received through 20-20 Financial Integration (the “App”), which connects to our clients’ QuickBooks Online companies.
Information we receive
When a client connects the App, we receive accounting data from that QuickBooks Online company: company information, chart of accounts, lists (such as vendors, customers, items and classes), transactions, and financial reports. We also receive the authorization tokens Intuit issues so the App can stay connected.
Information we don’t collect
QuickBooks data doesn’t include patient information, and we don’t load patient data from billing systems into this App.
How we use it
We use this information only to provide the accounting, bookkeeping, reporting, projection and advisory services the client has engaged us for, including preparing and recording adjusting entries.
How we protect it
Data is stored in the United States in access-controlled systems. Authorization tokens and data are encrypted in transit and at rest. Only authorized 20-20 staff can access the App, and changes posted to QuickBooks are logged with the person and time.
How long we keep it
We keep client data for as long as we provide services and afterward as required by our professional record-retention obligations. When a client disconnects the App, it stops receiving new data. Clients may ask us to delete data we no longer need to keep.
Client choices
A client can disconnect the App at any time from QuickBooks Online (Settings → Apps) or by contacting us, and can ask what data we hold.
Changes
We’ll post any updates on this page with a new effective date.
