Professional Profile

Can you provide a brief overview of your background and professional experience?

I graduated from Auburn University with my Bachelor of Business Administration (Accountancy) in 2006 and my Master of Accountancy in 2008.  I worked in public and private accounting until I started 20-20 Accounting Solutions, LLC in 2013.  Running a business has been both rewarding and challenging.  I have been working with Podiatrists since 2011 and love the profession.  I enjoy helping Podiatrists set and meet their financial goals for both short and long term.

What motivated you to pursue a career in your field?

I love working with numbers and having a meaningful impact on my clients’ lives.  I continue to study business and share what I have learned over the years with my clients.  My favorite part of my job is advising clients, setting goals, and helping them achieve those goals.

Are there personal/ professional goals you are working towards?

I am proud that we have created a work environment that facilitates success and a work life balance for our team members while providing a high level of service to our clients.  I aspire to grow 20-20 Accounting in a way that continues and improves upon the lives of our team and our clients.

So, who am I?

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of work?

I enjoy coaching soccer, wake surfing with my wife and kids, traveling with my family, and duck hunting a few times during the winter.  With 2 kids and 3 dogs, there is never a dull moment.

Any quirky or unique talents or skills?

I love to cook, particularly on a smoker.  Spatchcock chicken is my specialty!

What's your go-to coffee order or favorite snack?

I make a shot of espresso over ice, froth it to create body, then strain into a glass and drink it cold.

During a difficult time in my professional life, my dad told me “Through adversity comes opportunity”.  I have found that to be true many times.  When times are tough, I look back on how true my dads’ words were back then and know that they apply today.
