Can you provide a brief overview of your background and professional experience?
I am the official first employee of 20-20, but before the founding of the firm, I always seemed to find myself in an accounting role regardless of the position I was officially in, from PTO Officer and Youth Football League boards to general office staff.
What motivated you to pursue a career in your field?
To me, accounting is like solving a puzzle, and I enjoy every moment of it. I have always been a numbers person and the satisfaction of ensuring that every financial transaction is accurately recorded and that the numbers add up perfectly is what drives me.
Are there personal/ professional goals you are working towards?
am constantly looking for opportunities to gain expertise to share with our team and clients that will offer us ways to better each other and meet our goals.
So, who am I?
My family is at the heart of her world. I have two kids, Paige (who you may recognize) and Tim with my husband of over 30 years - Jeff. Although the kids are grown and live farther than I like, the weekends that get to be spent together are always the highlight of the week. But if there are no visits planned, Jeff and I like to sit on the back porch and listen to only the best tunes from KSHE 95 – St. Louis’ Classic Rock or watch Alabama Football.
I love to spend my free time at the beach. For me there is nothing quite like sitting next to the ocean and soaking up the sun. But when the tides keep me away from the sandy shores, I love to craft. My crafting repertoire extends from scrapbooking to quilting to sewing and more! Of course, I couldn’t do it without the help of my personal assistants, Peanut the Beagle and Buford the GSP- whose talents also cover the quality control management of all kitchen projects and general home security.
